If I want to schedule an appointment, What do I need to do?

Start by clicking the consultation button and providing your information. I will get in contact with you as soon as possible to schedule a 15-minute free consultation phone call. This call will ensure we are a good fit for each other based on what you are looking for. If not, I will be happy to provide referrals. Additionally, we will discuss if you want to use insurance or private pay, and I will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have.

Getting Started: You’ll likely fill out paperwork about your background, reasons for seeking therapy, and goals. The first session or two may focus on the therapist getting to know you and your situation. Sessions: You’ll usually meet once a week for about an hour, this may vary, you’ll discuss with your therapist the frequency of sessions. Length of Therapy: This varies greatly. Some people go for a few months to address a specific issue, while others may attend for years to work on ongoing personal growth, this will be addressed during intake session.
  • It may be uncomfortable at first: It’s normal to feel nervous about opening up to a stranger. This often gets easier with time.
  • You might cry: It’s a safe space to express emotions.
  • Therapists maintain confidentiality: They usually won’t share what you discuss with others, except in certain situations like if they think you’re a danger to yourself or others.

  • Couple Sessions $185
  • Sliding scale: apply if you may be eligible
  • Cash, Health Savings Account, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.
  • Payment is due at the beginning of each session.
  • A $75.00 charge will incur for same day cancellations or no-shows.

 

I can provide a superbill for out-of-network clients for reimbursement purposes, please reach out to your insurance company to verify out of network benefit.
