Lauri Sulewski, Counselor-In Training

Hello, my name is Lauri. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Texas, and I’m currently a graduate student completing my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas A&M University. I’m finishing my clinical hours for graduation and gaining hands-on experience to become a licensed mental health therapist. I’m currently under supervision as I provide counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults. I will Graduate in May 2026 with honors chi sigma lota.

My approach is laid-back and welcoming. I work hard to create a space where you can show up as you are, without fear of judgment. No matter your background or beliefs, I honor your culture, race, and life story. My goal is for every client to feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Whatever you’re facing, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to walk with you on your journey toward healing and growth.

I draw from a mix of evidence-based therapies, including Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Adlerian Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Trained Professional (Somatic training). If you’re looking for faith-based support, I can offer Christian counseling upon request.

Continuing education- Beginning Adlerian Play Therapy-  35 Live Webinar Non-Contact Hours, 5 hours of play therapy supervision  (includes 20 hours on Play Therapy Seminal or Historically Significant Theories, 12 hours on Play Therapy Skills and Methods, and 3 hours on Play Therapy Special Topics)
