Asking for help can be one of the most important decisions of your life, but it could also feel scary, the stigma of asking for help can prevent you from learning the necessary coping strategies to learn how to navigate life situations.
Individual therapy provides a safe space for self-reflection and understanding your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. You can gain insights into your motivations, values, and goals, learn communication skills, and techniques to manage anxiety, depression, stress management, relationship counseling, self-esteem issues, lack of confidence, life changes, and other challenges.
Sessions are strictly confidential, which can make it easier to discuss sensitive topics you may not feel comfortable sharing with anyone.
There are three exceptions in breaking confidentiality such as: Imminent danger to self or others, suspicion of abuse of children, the elderly, or persons with a disability, or if clinical notes are subpoena by a Judge (detailed information will be provided during intake).
Individual therapy can be adapted to your schedule and learning style (via telehealth or in-person).
