Accepting new clients
Hello! My name is Olutoyin Fagbohun, I approach my work with deep empathy, authenticity, and a genuine belief that every person deserves the chance to heal fully and holistically. My therapeutic space is calm and open, a place where you can feel seen, heard, and safe to be yourself.
Before I entered the counseling world, I completed my bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Psychology from Sam Houston State University. I even spent over two years in law school, only to realize along the way that my real calling wasn’t in legal briefs or courtrooms. What truly fulfills me is walking alongside people as they navigate life’s most vulnerable moments. Shifting to counseling wasn’t just a career change for me—it was the beginning of a purpose-driven path toward helping others feel whole, not just “managed.”
I earned my Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Houston Christian University, and that experience continues to shape my approach to therapy. My work is client-centered and integrative, which means I tailor my methods to your unique needs. I draw from a range of evidence-based practices—cognitive-behavioral tools, person-centered techniques, dialectical behavior therapy, solution focused therapy, attachment, narrative therapy, trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based strategies—I also provide Christian counseling for those who request it only.
I am currently under the supervision of Matt Miller, Med, LPC-S.
My goal is always the same: to meet you exactly where you are and walk with you toward lasting healing in spirit, mind, and body.
I believe healing isn’t linear, and it doesn’t look the same for everyone. My role is to hold space with compassion, offer gentle guidance, and help you reconnect with your inner strength and resilience. With natural warmth, high energy, and deep empathy, I strive to create an environment where you feel encouraged, understood, and never alone in your journey. It’s an honor to be part of your healing process.
